Markdown Support

The integration automatically converts between Markdown and Confluence storage format:

Supported Markdown Elements:

• Headers: # H1 through ###### H6
• Formatting: **bold**, *italic*, ~~strikethrough~~
• Lists: Ordered and unordered, with nesting
• Code: Inline `code` and fenced code blocks with syntax highlighting
• Links: [text](url) format
• Images: ![alt](url) format
• Tables: Full markdown table support
• Blockquotes: > quote format

Compatibility

Authentication

OAuth 2.0 Authentication

The platform uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication with Confluence:

1. Navigate to the Integrations page in the platform
2. Click the "Connect" button next to Confluence
3. You'll be redirected to Atlassian to authorize access
4. Grant the requested permissions: read:confluence-content.all write:confluence-content offline_access
5. You'll be redirected back to the platform with Confluence connected

The OAuth flow handles all authentication automatically - no manual token management required.
